1. About Recilio
Recilio provides tools to scan, capture, organize, analyze, store, manage and export receipts and expense information. Features may include OCR, AI-assisted analysis, categorization, exports, individual and business accounts, approval workflows and subscriptions.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you use Recilio for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind or act for that organization.
3. Account Registration
Certain features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, protect your account and device, prevent unauthorized access and promptly notify Recilio of suspected misuse.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of receipts, images, documents and other content you submit. You grant Recilio a limited right to process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate the Services. You confirm that you have the rights required to submit it.
5. Receipt Scanning, OCR and Artificial Intelligence
Automated extraction and AI-generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete or incorrectly categorized. You are responsible for reviewing information before using it for accounting, tax, reimbursement, reporting, audits, business decisions or regulatory filings.
6. No Accounting, Tax or Legal Advice
Recilio is a software tool and does not provide accounting, tax, financial, legal or other professional advice. Generated information is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
7. Business and Organization Accounts
Authorized administrators may invite or remove users, view business records, review submissions, approve or reject expenses and manage permissions. Information submitted within an organization may be accessible to its authorized administrators.
8. Subscriptions
Some features may require a paid subscription. Plans, prices, features, billing periods, trials and availability may vary by country, platform, account type and time.
9. App Store and Google Play Purchases
Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by the applicable platform and are also subject to its terms. Subscriptions may renew until canceled. Deleting the app or account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription; manage cancellation through the platform where you purchased it.
10. Free Trials
Trial duration and conditions are shown when offered. Eligibility may be limited. A paid, automatically renewing subscription may begin when the trial ends unless canceled as described by the applicable platform.
11. Acceptable Use
You may not use Recilio unlawfully; upload content you lack rights to process; commit fraud; introduce harmful code; attempt unauthorized access; bypass security, usage or subscription limits; scrape without authorization; interfere with service availability; or abuse other users or systems.
12. Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be changed, replaced or discontinued, and maintenance, third-party outages or events beyond our control may affect availability.
13. Data and Backups
Maintain appropriate independent copies of important business, accounting or legally required records. Recilio should not be treated as the sole legally required archive where law or policy requires separate retention.
14. Intellectual Property
Except for User Content, Recilio and its software, interface, design, branding, logos, text, features, technology and documentation are owned by or licensed to Recilio and protected by applicable law.
15. Privacy
Our processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
16. Account Termination and Deletion
You may stop using Recilio at any time. Where available, deletion may be initiated in the application or requested through our Account & Data Deletion page. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties or the Services.
17. Third-Party Services
Recilio may rely on cloud, AI, email, subscription and platform providers. Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that the Services will always be available, automated results will always be correct or every document format will be recognized. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recilio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, data or business opportunity arising from use of the Services. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
20. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may update the Services or these Terms to reflect product, legal or operational changes. Material updates will be communicated as required by law. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the Recilio contracting entity and the user, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules and jurisdiction rights that cannot be waived.
22. Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
