1. Delete Your Account in Recilio
If account deletion is available in your version of Recilio, start it directly in the application:
Follow the on-screen instructions. We may require identity verification before completing deletion.
2. Request Deletion from the Web
If you cannot access the application, email hello@recil.io from the address associated with your account whenever possible. Use the subject Account Deletion Request and include your account email address. We may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify ownership.
3. What Data Is Deleted
After a valid request is completed, we delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account, which may include profile information, email and identifiers, uploaded receipt images, receipt and expense records, categories, notes, reports, exports and organization membership information.
4. Business and Organization Accounts
Certain business or expense records may belong to an organization or need to remain available for legal or operational reasons. Where appropriate, personal identifiers may be removed or anonymized while legitimate organizational records are retained. An administrator may also need to remove your membership.
5. Information We May Retain
We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary or legally required for regulatory, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, agreement-enforcement or lawful-request purposes.
6. Backup Copies
Deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted backup systems used for disaster recovery. These copies are not used for normal account activity and are deleted or overwritten according to standard backup procedures.
7. Subscription Cancellation
Deleting your account or removing the Recilio application does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription separately through the platform where you purchased it.
8. Processing Time
We aim to process valid requests without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law. Backups or records subject to legal retention requirements may take longer to disappear.
